Sit Thailand Muay Thai Gym is a Muay Thai training facility in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

The gym is run by Thailand Pinsinchai, who is a former professional fighter who won a national title, as well as titles from Lumpinee and Rajadamnern Stadium.

Similar to Manasak, he comes from the Pinsinchai camp lineage in Bangkok. Also like Manasak, he had been coaching in Chiang Mai for a number of years prior to opening the Sit Thailand gym around 2019–2020.

I’ve actually trained with “Thailand”. Not when he was teaching in Chiang Mai, but at the FA Group gym in Bangkok when he was teaching there around 2013.

I can say based on first hand experience that he is an excellent trainer who doesn’t “gatekeep” techniques (he taught me one of my go-to moves in the clinch).

Location of the Sit Thailand Muay Thai Gym

The Sit Thailand Muay Thai gym is located in the Pa Daet area of Chiang Mai (Siri Phruek Alley, off Chiang Mai–Hangdong Road, in a villa compound called Vila Villa).

It is about 10 minutes south of the Old City and close to the airport access roads. The setting is in a quieter residential/villa area rather than a central tourist zone.

It’s about a 15 minute walk from the central airport mall, which is a great place to get food after training.

The Trainers and Fighters at the Sit Thailand Muay Thai Gym

As mentioned, “Thailand” himself won the 3 most prestigious titles in the sport when he was competing during the “golden era”.

He now passes his knowledge not only to foreigners, but also to up and coming Thai’s and the results thus far have been very impressive.

At the time of this writing, the gym has already produced 2 Rajadamnern stadium champions. One being “Jigsaw”, who won the 112lb title back in 2024 and has since set a record for successful title defenses.

The other is “Captainteam”, who is Thailand Pinsinchai’s son. Captainteam won the interim Raja belt in the 118lb division (the same division that his father won his Raja belt in).

He wasn’t able to claim the undisputed title in a unification bout against Jaroensook (from Lanna Muay Thai) in early 2026, but I’m sure he’ll have more opportunities to rack up titles like his father because at time of this writing, he’s only 19 years old.

In addition to Jigsaw and Captainteam, there’s another fighter named Plaithongkham who trains at the Sit Thailand Muay Thai gym.

Plaithongkham is signed with Petchyindee, and fights on their events. He won the PRYDE TV title in a bout held in Raja stadium in 2025.

PRYDE TV is a streaming app, and the PRYDE TV Championship is a modern, promoter-backed championship belt created through an exclusive partnership they have with Petchyindee promotions.

Sit Thailand Muay Thai Facility

The gym is set at the back of a villa compound with an open-sided training area that includes heavy bags (around 8), one large ring (used for clinch, sparring, and padwork), mats, and a basic strength section.

There are toilets, showers, and a water station. No on-site accommodation is available at the gym itself, but nearby options exist in the area. The facility has a simple, functional setup typical of smaller traditional camps.

Training Structure And Prices

Classes run Monday to Saturday. Morning sessions typically start around 7:00–7:30 AM (with an optional run beforehand) and afternoon sessions around 4:00 PM. Sundays are off.

Sessions last roughly 1.5–2 hours and generally include skipping/shadowboxing, padwork, bag work, clinch, and technical sparring.Training is mixed but tends toward smaller groups.

It accommodates different levels, with adjustments for beginners while maintaining a fighter-oriented environment. Private sessions are available. The schedule can vary slightly.

As for pricing, it’s best to contact them via their Facebook or Instagram page to get the most accurate quotes, but expect to pay approximately 350 for a session or 600 for a day (2 sessions).

The monthly rate is around 10,000 baht, and you can get privates for 1200 baht per hour, though I believe privates with Thailand Pinsinchai are slightly more expensive at 1500/hour.
