Silk Muay Thai is one of the newest gyms in the Pattaya region. The gym opened in 2021, and since then, has been gaining more notoriety.
Location of Silk Muay Thai
Silk Muay Thai is located at Thung Klom – Tan Man 18, Pattaya City, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri 20150. It is approximately a 17-minute drive from Jomtein Beach, making it accessible yet slightly removed from the city’s bustling core.
This location offers a balance between urban access and a quieter training environment. This gym would likely be ideal for someone who wants to be in Pattaya, but feels as though they would easily get tempted by Pattaya’s nightlife/indulgences.
Being a bit further out will likely help you stay disciplined. That being said, you will still have relatively easy access to the city center when you need a break from training.
Accommodation (On-Site and Nearby)
- On-Site Accommodation:
- Silk Muay Thai offers new on-site accommodations with modern amenities, including a swimming pool, sauna, and spa.
- The rooms are available as part of a package deal which includes training and either 1 or 2 meals per day.
- The rooms look nice. Similar to what you’d expect from a nearby hotel/guesthouse, and they’re equipped with a private washroom, twin beds, air conditioning and Wi-Fi.
- Staying on-site would be good for those who prefer a more immersive training experience.
- Nearby Accommodation:
- The proximity to Central Pattaya (20-minute drive) ensures access to a wide range of lodging options.

Training Schedule
At Silk Muay Thai gym, they train 2x per day from Monday to Saturday. The morning session runs from 7am to 9:30am and the afternoon session runs from 3pm to 6pm.
Both sessions start with jogging or skipping. If you’re training for recreation and aren’t planning to complete, you’d likely be able to skip the run and show up at 8am instead of 7am if you wanted to sleep in.
The main difference between the morning and afternoon sessions is that the sparring and clinching is usually done in the afternoon. Their website says that they do sparring/clinching during the afternoon sessions approx 2x per week.

Prices
Based on what I’m seeing on their social media, Silk Muay Thai periodically offers promotions for their all inclusive packages. The latest promotional rate I’ve seen is 25,500 baht/month for 1x per day, 1 meal per day and a private room. For 2 training sessions and 2 meals per day, that price gets bumped up to 33,000 baht/month.
Keep in mind that this is being advertised as a promotional rate so the price when you look might be different.
There’s no rate listed on their website for single training sessions, but as a general guideline, the rates in Pattaya range from 300-600 baht. 300 is a great price, 400 is the standard, and 500-600/session would be on the expensive side but could be justified in the newer/nicer facilities.
